Village of South Blooming Grove Shuttle

Dear Village Residents,

We are excited to announce that starting TODAY, Monday, March 20, 2023, our new shuttle service will be up and running!

We have hired a manager for the buses, Mr. Dov Guttman, who will be overseeing the Shuttle Service.

Ticket books can be purchased at Village Hall and on the Shuttle.

In the coming days and weeks, we will be adjusting the routes and schedules based on your feedback, so please let us know what you think.

To access information on pricing, scheduling, and to submit feedback to the transit department, please call us at 845-782-2600 extension 600. You can also listen to the schedules to plan your transportation accordingly.

We are thrilled to offer this service to the community, and we hope it makes your daily commute easier and more convenient.

This initiative also furthers our initiative to reduce the amount of vehicles travleing village roads and to help reduce traffic and congestion in our Village.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to hearing your feedback.

Sincerely,

George Kalaj

Fire Safety

Dear Village Residents,
In an effort to improve Fire Safety in the village and to prevent the unfortunate scenarios and tragedies that were of the past two residential fires in the village, we have initiated in affiliation with the American Red Cross a Special Fire Safety Training and Smoke Detector program.
Upon registering for this very important program, the Red Cross will schedule a visit to your residence and will provide essential fire safety training and important and useful techniques to utilize during the event of a fire, which can save lives and help you and your loved ones avoid tremendous monetary and property damage.
The Red Cross will also provide Smoke Detectors and assist you with the installation free of charge!
To register to the Fire Safety Program please click on the link below, or call the Village Hall at 845.782.2600 and ask to be registered to the program.
We have to be vigilant and do everything in our capacity to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents as the old adage says: An ounce of protection is better than a pound of cure!
Stay Safe!
